Summary of Position
A director on the CALS Alumni Association Board of Directors acts as an informed ambassador of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and as an advocate and voice for alumni. More specifically, a director serves to facilitate and enrich connections within the CALS network; extend and renew the CALS experience; champion and showcase alumni achievements, leadership, and service; and build further affinity and pride within the Cornell community.

The director is responsible for periodic communications with alumni collectively and individually, as well as, may be asked to emcee or participate in engagement events.

The director encourages engagement and participation of CALS alumni with CALS Alumni Association, CALS, and Cornell activities. The director will act as an informed ambassador of the College and mentor and recruit other volunteers for future leadership opportunities.
