Summary of Position

The principal responsibility of the Class Council is to coordinate regional Class activities and maintain Class enthusiasm during non-Reunion years. Because Classmates are scattered throughout the world, regionally-based Class activities are very popular and may even help identify future Class leadership. Class Council members are crucial gatherers of Classmate information including news for the Class column, address updates, and ideas for events or suggestions for improvement. The Class Council members support the planning and execution of the Class Reunion. Council members may be asked to work with the Class Leadership Team on ad hoc committees and special projects for the Class.

Council Members may be called on to dialog with Classmates at regional events, explaining Class programs and gathering Classmate feedback.

Build a regional network of Classmates and coordinate regional Class activities. Class Council members provide advice and suggestions to the Class Leadership Team at all meetings.
