Summary of Position

The goal of the Cornell University Class of 2015 Council is to connect classmates by rekindling memories of days on the Hill while providing support of today’s Cornell. Council members serve five year terms and have a lot of freedom on how to meet that goal. The Alumni Columnist is responsible for writing the bi-monthly class column in the Class Notes. They also prepare a class newsletter when the council determines it’s necessary.

The Alumni Columnist writes 6 class columns per year for the Class Notes. The Columnist is responsible for collecting the classmate updates. The Columnist should also produce class newsletters.

Alumni Columnists must be committed to spending time collecting and reading news of classmates and writing about it in a lively, entertaining tone.

It's the responsibility of the Alumni Columnist to engage the class to collect updates for the class column.
