Summary of Position

The goal of the Cornell University Class of 2015 Council is to connect classmates by rekindling memories of days on the Hill while providing support of today’s Cornell. Council members serve five year terms and have a lot of freedom on how to meet that goal. The Membership Chair is responsible for the overall membership solicitation of the class and collecting dues that support the class organization. They approve the membership plan for the year and follows up with non-duespayers to reach pre-approved goals.

Promote the Ezra plan to other class officers and to classmates. When necessary, write the text for any follow up mailings and other targeted responses.

Lead/Manage/Serve

Manage Projects
Coordinate the membership mailing process with the staff. Approve yearly goals for membership and implement the follow up process.

Build/Maintain Relationships

Engage Individuals
Make follow-up calls or emails to classmates who have not paid their class dues.
