Summary of Position

The goal of the Cornell University Class of 2015 Council is to connect classmates by rekindling memories of days on the Hill while providing support of today’s Cornell. Council members serve five year terms and have a lot of freedom on how to meet that goal. The secretary maintains class records such as the constitution, records of class member participation in Cornell activities, and the roster of addresses for the class. They are also responsible for taking and distributing meeting minutes and may serve as class historian.

The class secretary is responsible for taking minutes of class meetings and also writing all class sympathy, congratulatory and thank you notes. They are responsible for maintaining important class documents.
