Summary of Position

The President: • presides at all business meetings of the CRC. • is responsible for all communications regarding dues, reunion registration, and other items as necessary. • chairs the Executive Committee and the CRC Advisory Council. • is responsible for the appointment of Council members and any necessary ad hoc committees. • is an ex officio member of all committees and a voting member of the nominating committee. • facilitates, at the triennial meeting, the selection of the Cornell unit to receive financial support and coordinates the publicity of such. • is responsible for the overall operations of the CRC. • is responsible for webpage and social media updates, (although another may be appointed to fill this responsibility).

The president will be responsible for writing and editing correspondence to CRC, including membership and invitation mailings. The president will represent the work of the group in small and large group settings.

Manage Projects
The president will lead and oversee CRC officer initiatives. The president will host conference calls with the executive committee to ensure the completion of assigned tasks. The president will work closely with university staff liaisons.

Represent Cornell
The president will represent CRC at Cornell functions and will engage members through membership, events and other initiatives. CRC president will encourage alumni to pay their dues, attend Reunion.
