Summary of Position

The Secretary shall maintain minutes for all Association proceedings and a record of all votes conducted in relation to the business of the Association. The Secretary shall oversee and manage CAAA’s communications, including but not limited to the Association’s web and social media presence. The Secretary shall perform such other duties as may be assigned by the President or the Executive Board. Additionally, as a volunteer for Cornell University, the Secretary shall vote in Cornell's annual alumni trustee election.

The Secretary shall take all meeting minutes, assist in setting meeting agendas, and support the president and other officers in association correspondence.

The Secretary shall maintain a record of all votes and minutes for all proceedings. Shall provide notice of all Board meetings to the Directors and of all membership meetings to Members. Shall coordinate, create and communicate programming schedule with other Officers.
