It is important that the finance committee is able to speak in board meetings and share ideas, suggestions and plans with the board, while creating a sense of excitement and interest through provoking ideas and plans. Although public speaking is not mandatory, it is helpful to have a comfort level in speaking to their constituents. The ability to share a clear message is important in both speaking and communicating via email.
