Summary of Position

Works with our on-campus partners and alumni associations of Cornell to advance the mission of CLAA and expand its reach and recognition within the Cornell community. The co-Chair will work closely with the Membership Chair to promote membership in CLAA to all alumni through regional engagement events and other ad-hoc events and initiatives. The Membership Co-Chair shall be responsible with the Chair for implementing activities that attract members and monitoring engagement of existing and new members. The co-Chair will present to the Board when requested but at least once a term a report (in collaboration with the DAP staff) on membership/engagement numbers including regional, class distribution and responses to emails and newsletters.

Additional Attendance Requirements: Attendance at TCAM, Homecoming, and CALC are strongly encouraged. There shall be a minimum of one annual membership meeting. The annual membership meeting shall be held at the Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference or at another venue as deemed appropriate by the Board.
