Summary of Position

The Elected Member will help communicate the priorities of the university to Council members. The Elected Member will collaborate with the Chair and Vice chair(s) to increase giving among Council Members. The Elected Member is a member of the Cornell University Council Administrative Board.

The Elected Member will help inform University Council members about the importance of private support for Cornell students, faculty and programs, and to encourage all Council members to make a gift each year with a goal of 100% participation.
