Summary of Position

The secretary will keep a record of the proceedings of the HEYA Council and the Executive Board and shall make available copies of all such records for circulation within six weeks after any meeting which shall be placed in the permanent files of the HEYA after approval. The secretary will also perform such duties as assigned by the president of the council.

The secretary will take minutes at all council meetings, executive board conference calls, and effectively document all of the proceedings. These documents must then be approved and edited and placed in permanent HEYA records.

The secretary serves on the Executive Board and is responsible for documenting the proceedings of the Executive Board conference calls, submit minutes for review, and place in permanent HEYA records.
