Summary of Position
A Johnson Club Leader supports the strategic vision of Johnson through sponsored programs and activities that bring area Johnson alumni, students and friends together for lifelong enrichment and community. The president oversees the work of volunteer leaders in the successful creation, management and implementation of these initiatives, and interacts frequently with and receives full support from Johnson Alumni Affairs in areas of faculty and alumni speaker identification, e-communications, communication with Cornell Alumni Affairs, event marketing, surveying, and other support as needs arise.

Create and submit an annual plan outlining fiscal year events; use social media to advertise events, collect feedback/ideas from alumni, and collaborate with fellow club leaders; speak at board meetings.

Develop and alumni plan; develop, organize and manage a minimum of 2 events per year in collaboration with Johnson Alumni Affairs, local alumni, regional Cornell Club (if applicable), and external & inclusion, Johnson centers/institutes; organize and lead board meetings at least twice per year to discuss events and annual plan; manage budget; help Alumni Affairs maintain the accuracy of the alumni database by forwarding contact/employment information; and confirm alumni club leadership each year.

Represent Cornell
Attend regional Cornell Club (if exists) board meeting annually and development relationships with Cornell Club leadership; attend the Johnson Club & Class Officer Annual Planning Meeting in January in NYC; and help Alumni Affairs identify/recruit future club leaders.
