Summary of Position

The President's primarily responsibility will be to lead the NYC Cornellians Board's activity. The President will work closely with the Alumni Affairs Office to set strategic priorities and goals for the NYC Cornellians within the framework of Cornell’s Alumni Affairs Strategic Plan, and its policies and procedures. The President will preside at Board meetings. The President will present the Office of Alumni Affairs an annual plan of activities and budget proposal prepared and approved by the Board.

The President, as any other Board Member, is considered a Cornell Ambassador aiming to increase engagement within their community. The President will lead the Board's efforts in recruiting new volunteers and support current alumni volunteers in their development to build and maintain an adequate pipeline.
