Summary of Position
Regional Vice Presidents work with the Chapter Presidents to ensure that the annual membership goals are communicated and met. They keep an annual calendar of activities and events and share with Alumni Affairs office and join quarterly executive committee calls to collaborate. It is important for the RVPs to develop leadership in each Chapter, including a President, Vice President, and Treasurer-Secretary to ensure succession planning. The Central Region RVP oversees the following chapters by CHS Global: Texas (Northern and Southern), Minnesota, Chicago, Colorado-Rocky.

Speak to Groups
Communicate with chapter leadership on the annual membership goals. This can be done in person or in writing.
Lead a Group
Serve as the main contact for the Chapter Presidents.
Mentor and provide guidance to chapter presidents. Invite others to participate in a chapter, solicit gifts and nominations.

Hotel School alumnus or affiliate CHS member. Must have previously served as a Chapter President. Required to make a gift to the Hotel School. The RVP must be from one of the areas that they oversee.
