Summary of Position

The A&S Career Connections Committee serves the College of Arts & Sciences by collaborating with A&S Career Services to connect students with alumni for the purpose of learning about career options. The committee accomplishes its mission through activities, events, and networking throughout the year, both on-campus and off. We are looking for participants to share their experiences at networking events and possibly panels. Examples of events include the A&S Career Connections reception in Ithaca in mid-September (all fields welcome) and field-specific events in NYC (Finance, Media, and Law) and D.C. (Government & Policy) in January and over the summer.

Events may occur on or off campus.; Each field team coordinates one winter event and one summer event off-campus each year. There are currently four field teams: Government and Policy, Law, Media, and Finance.; On-campus options include a reception each September, which enables A&S students to interact with A&S alumni prior to the career fair.
