Summary of Position
The Immediate Past President provides historical context and perspective to the Class Officer Board, participates in Board activities, sits on the Executive Committee, and oversees the Nominations Committee.

The Immediate Past President is responsible for leading and managing the Nominations Committee in the 4th and 5th year of the class life cycle, which is charged with identifying and recommended new directors, as well as, proposing a slate of officers at Reunion. He/she works closely with staff to set goals and initiatives for the committee and communicate those goals to committee members on conference calls and throughout the year.

The Immediate Past President encourages committee member participation and delegates responsibilities to all team members. He/She is expected to orient the new committee members, coach committee members about their role, duties, and expected level of activity, and mentor members for future leadership opportunities.
