Summary of Position
The Coastal Connecticut Cornell Club (CCCC) is a dues free alumni organization for all alumni in New Haven and surrounding area. Board Member is an At-Large position and office holders are responsible for the general management of CCCC; they transact all club business and carry out and execute its purposes. The main purpose of CCCC is to support Cornell’s mission, build community, and drive peer-to-peer engagement among members of the Cornell community in our area.

Board members may be asked to represent CCCC at various events to greet and welcome attendees, thank the organizers, recognize the speakers, etc.

Board members are to serve a liaisons between CCCC and Cornell staff, another alumni organization, association, board, or group to maximize collaboration and communication. They will also organize or support in the organization of activities and events to drive alumni engagement.

Board members are to engage alumni to get involved with CCCC and with Cornell. In addition, board members represent Cornell University within the local community.
