Summary of Position
The President of Coastal Connecticut Cornell Club (CCCC) will work closely with the Alumni Affairs Office to set strategic priorities and goals for CCCC within the framework of Cornell’s Alumni Affairs Strategic Plan, and its policies and procedures. The President will preside at Board meetings. The President will work with Board Members to plan, coordinate, execute, and evaluate club activity. The President will present the Office of Alumni Affairs an annual plan of activities and budget proposal prepared and approved by the Board.

The President will represent CCCC at various events to greet and welcome attendees, thank the organizers, recognize the speakers, etc.

The President to serve a liaisons between CCCC and Cornell staff, another alumni organization, association, board, or group to maximize collaboration and communication. They will also support Board Members in the organization of activities and events to drive alumni engagement.

The President is to engage alumni to get involved with CCCC and with Cornell. In addition, the President represents Cornell University within the local community.
