Help bring together Cornellians by organizing events for young alumni living in and visiting Orange County. This is a fun way to meet other Cornellians and get to experience all that Orange County has to offer.
The expectation is that you organize a few events during the year. It is voluntary to sit on the club board, but not required for this position.
Talent Expectations: Skills
Speak to Groups
The ability to share a clear message of welcome and inclusion is important in both speaking and communicating at events and via email.
Organize, Plan and/or Host Events
Plan and assist with programming throughout the regional area.
It is helpful to seek out members of the local community to participate and interact on another level. Actively engaging alumni, parents and friends to participate in all aspects of events could help encourage additional participation. Meeting alumni and speaking with them about opportunities to engage the local Cornell community are vital to the growth of the club.
