Summary of Position

Members will assist the chair in implementing a fundraising campaign for CBAA's upcoming Reunion. Committee members will be assigned various roles to support the overarching mission of the committee. Creating of a case statement, direct solicitations of gifts, and outreach to alumni, parents, and friends of CBAA are integral parts of committee member responsibilities. Additionally, as a volunteer for Cornell University, vote in Cornell's annual alumni trustee election.

Direct outreach to alumni, friends, and parents in support of the CBAA fundraising goals. The ability to draft concise, yet persuasive emails is important. Members must be comfortable discussing how to support the CBAA identified programs areas of Cornell in a direct but nuanced manner with alumni.

Serve on a Committee or Board
Work collaboratively with the chair of the development committee and assigned staff within Alumni Affairs and Development. If possible, pre-Reunion events will be held regionally that require attendance from committee members.

Represent Cornell
Meet, as necessary, with potential donors and others interested in CBAA's Reunion campaign and ongoing activities with the University. Serve as a representative of CBAA and Cornell to potential donors.
