Summary of Position
The Cornell Club of Central New Jersey is a dues free alumni organization for all alumni in Princeton and the Greater Princeton Area. At-Large Board members are responsible for the general control and management of the Cornell Club of Central New Jersey (CCCNJ); they transact all business of CCCNJ and carry out and execute its purposes. The at-large board will include 20 - 25 selected members. The main purpose of CCCNJ is to support Cornell’s mission, build community, and drive peer-to-peer engagement among members of the Cornell community in our area.

Board members may be asked to represent CCCNJ at various events to greet and welcome attendees, thank the organizers, recognize the speakers, etc.

Board members are to serve a liaisons between CCCNJ and Cornell staff, another alumni organization, association, board, or group to maximize collaboration and communication. They will also organize or support in the organization of activities and events to drive alumni engagement.

Board members are to engage alumni to get involved with CCCNJ and with Cornell. In addition, board members represent Cornell University within the local community.
