Summary of Position
The Philanthropy Chair will be in charge of leading CCFC' efforts to support Cornell's mission through giving. The Philanthropy Chair will work with other members of the Board to design and organize initiatives aiming to increase alumni participation in giving activities, especially in support of the CCFC Scholarship Fund. The Philanthropy Chair will work with Cornell staff to promote Giving Day and increase alumni participation in this university-wide annual fundraising activity. The Philanthropy Chair will also support alumni volunteers leading community services activities, such as but not limited to Cornell Cares Day.
