Summary of Position

The Co-Presidents of the Cornell Club of Greater Hartford (CCGH) will work closely with the Alumni Affairs Office to set strategic priorities and goals for CCCNJ within the framework of Cornell’s Alumni Affairs Strategic Plan, and its policies and procedures. The Presidents will preside at Board meetings. The Presidents, will work with Board Members to plan, coordinate, execute, and evaluate club activity. The Presidents will present the Office of Alumni Affairs an annual plan of activities and budget proposal prepared and approved by the Board.

The Presidents will represent CCGH at various events to greet and welcome attendees, thank the organizers, recognize the speakers, etc.

Serve on a Committee or Board
The Presidents are to serve as liaisons between CCGH and Cornell staff, another alumni organization, association, board, or group to maximize collaboration and communication. They will also support Board Members in the organization of activities and events to drive alumni engagement.

Represent Cornell
The Presidents will engage alumni to get involved with CCGH and with Cornell. In addition, the Presidents represent Cornell University within the local community.
