Summary of Position

The Cornell Club of Monmouth & Ocean Counties (CCMO) is a dues free alumni organization. At-Large Board members are responsible for the general control and management of the club; they transact all business of CCCMO and carry out and execute its purposes. The main purpose of CCMO is to support Cornell’s mission, build community, and drive peer-to-peer engagement among members of the Cornell community in our area.

Speak to Groups
Board members may be asked to represent CCMO at various events to greet and welcome attendees, thank the organizers, recognize the speakers, etc.

Serve on a Committee or Board
Board members are to serve a liaisons between CCMO and Cornell staff, another alumni organization, association, board, or group to maximize collaboration and communication. They will also organize or support in the organization of activities and events to drive alumni engagement.

Build/Maintain Relationships

Engage Individuals
Represent Cornell
Board members are to engage alumni to get involved with CCMO and with Cornell. In addition, board members represent Cornell University within the local community.
