Summary of Position

As an “ambassador," you will be assigned a student for the summer to check in on. Primarily you contact the student(s) before they arrive to introduce yourself and offer to help get them settled into the CWRU dorms. Some students need to be picked up from the airport and/or a ride to the store to pick up a few essentials. Several times over the summer check in with the student, invite them to dinner, etc.

Requirements

Prerequisites Since 2003, Summer on the Cuyahoga (SOTC) has been providing Cornell students with professional opportunities enriched by all the best that Northeast Ohio has to offer. Students are offered group housing in Cleveland for the duration of the program, making local internships seamless and summer programming impactful. Interest in supporting current students, knowledge of the greater Cleveland area, and comfortable being in regular contact with a student throughout their summer internship.
