Summary of Position

The Chair of the Alumni Pipeline Development Committee shall collaborate with other alumni organizations to increase the number of diverse alumni who serve these organizations as active members and/or within their leadership ranks. Additionally, as a volunteer for Cornell University, vote in Cornell's annual alumni trustee election.

The Chair of the Alumni Pipeline Development Committee provides frequent updates to the Steering Committee on the work of the committee. Furthermore, the Chair presents the an annual report to the Steering Committee for review.

The Chair of the Committee develops, implements and oversees the committee's work plan. The Chair organizes and runs meetings.

Other Meeting Details: Monthly phone calls ensure the timeliness of the work, and the Chair presents the committee's recommendation to the Steering Committee at the Spring Meeting. Furthermore, the Chair interacts with a university staff liaison prior to and after the work of the committee to prepare for and learn from the committee's work.

Additional Attendance Requirements: Attendance at bi-monthly Mosaic meetings is preferred.
