Summary of Position

The Chair of Cornell Mosiac creates implements and oversees initiatives for Mosaic, based on the strategic director set forth by the university. The chair shall also serve as an ex-officio member of all Mosaic committees. Additionally, as a volunteer for Cornell University, vote in Cornell's annual alumni trustee election.

The Chair will represent the work and impact of the Mosaic in individual, small and large group settings. The Chair will also craft and send out communications to Council members on a variety of topics.

Serve on a Committee or Board
The Chair will lead and oversee the efforts of the Mosaic Board, which meets at least quarterly. The Chair may call additional meetings as he/she deems appropriate. The Chair will work closely with university leaders to identify and implement new initiatives.

Build/Maintain Relationships

Represent Cornell
The Chair will represent Mosaic and the diverse communities at other Cornell board meetings.
