Summary of Position
The Chair of the Programming Committee shall plan and execute Mosaic conferences, educational, and social events, and collaborate with other organizations to plan or co-sponsor additional events as appropriate and in concert with the Executive Committee's goals. Additionally, as a volunteer for Cornell University, vote in Cornell's annual alumni trustee election.

Other Meeting Details:
Monthly phone calls ensure the timeliness of the work, and the Chair presents the committee's recommendation to the Steering Committee at the Spring Meeting. Furthermore, the Chair interacts with a university staff liaison prior to and after the work of the committee to prepare for and learn from the committee's work.
Additional Attendance Requirements:
Attendance at bi-monthly Mosaic meetings is preferred.
