Volunteer contacts are the primary points of contacts for Cornellians living in/traveling through any given city/country. Clear and engaging communication style, written and oral, is key to the successful fulfillment of the role.

In cases where it makes sense to build the momentum toward a formal Cornell alumni club in the area, volunteer contacts frequently take the lead to initiate the outreach among the alumni community and with the Office of Alumni Affairs, organizing/planning/hosting events, as well as serving on, managing, and leading a club board.
