Summary of Position
The Regional Event Planning Committee assists the CLS Alumni Affairs Office in planning CLS alumni events in the various cities where there is a large concentration of CLS alumni. The purpose of any regional event is to create an opportunity for CLS alumni to connect with each other and back to the Law School. Other specific goals may include:highlighting prominent alumni who have excelled in their area of expertise; offering a program that provides Continuing Legal Education credit; partnering with alumni from other Cornell colleges or units to enhance networking opportunities; fostering a sense of loyalty and goodwill among the attendees so as to encourage their support to the Law School by giving of their time, talent, and treasurers.
