Summary of Position

PCCW brings together alumnae to build a community that supports women at Cornell. Mentors play a vital role in helping the newest members navigate PCCW, helping them utilize and grow from the experience and expertise of others. Mentors will be responsible for facilitating a group of new members to do the following over a series of 3-4 meetings during the year: 1) Educate and remind members of the expectations of a PCCW member. 2) Share and provide help navigating the first year of PCCW membership

May need to speak to a group of new members at some time. Plan scheduled calls, either via phone, zoom, or another mechanism.


Lead a Group
Serve on a Committee or Board
Lead the group of new members through the first year of their PCCW experience.

Build/Maintain Relationships

Represent Cornell
Represent PCCW and be knowledgeable about the goals and requirements of members. Reach out to assigned member at least 4 times in one year. Discussion topics will be provided.
