Summary of Position

The central purpose of the CWAN Chair is to work with the other members of the club’s Board to ensure CWAN is responding to the interests of this affinity group within the framework of the all-alumni community it serves. The Chair is also responsible for engaging and supporting the club’s At-Large Board Members in the planning and execution of CWAN events. In addition, the CWAN Chair will actively participate in and support all-alumni focused programming and building partnerships among other alumni groups, members, and University partners. This includes acting as CWAN's representative with the NYC Cornellians board. The Chair is an advocate for the university and the club, and excited to engage fellow alumnae in the community
