Cornell Women’s Advocacy Network (CWAN) - NYC

The Finance Chair is responsible for drafting CWAN’s annual budget and for managing the budget over the course of the fiscal year. The Finance Chair will work closely with Alumni Affairs to create the budget and to submit expenses throughout the year. They will also work with the entire Board to track event budgets and identify future opportunities for the organization. The Finance Chair is also responsible for disseminating the reimbursement process to CWAN members, and will serve as the point of contact for related questions. They will also coordinate with Programming Chairs to maintain a list of preferred vendors, and a record of previous event budgets for reference. They will support event planning in this capacity.
