Summary of Position

The Social Chair’s role is to create events and opportunities for CWAN members to connect with one another and strengthen the CWAN community. The Social Chair can support the network through both in-person and online venues. The Social Chair will work with the Programming Co-Chairs to develop the event calendar and help optimize timing and volunteer efforts. They will also help maintain event planning guides and materials. The Social Chair will partner closely with and support the Marketing Chair to support the membership of CWAN.
