Summary of Position

Members at large of PCCW are leaders in their chosen fields and have accomplished a high level of recognized success in their career or vocational activity (other than activities related to Cornell). PCCW members demonstrate a commitment to strengthening the experience of women affiliated with Cornell, whether as students, staff, faculty, alumnae, or friends. PCCW members are expected to build a profile in CUVolunteer; attend the annual PCCW Symposium; make an annual gift to Cornell at a level of individual comfort, with a gift to one or more PCCW dedicated priorities encouraged; vote in Cornell's alumni trustee election; participate in one or more PCCW committees; and nominate someone for PCCW membership.

Requirements

Prerequisites PCCW members must hold a degree from Cornell University and must not have previously served as a member-at-large of PCCW. Nominations are strongly encouraged from current PCCW members, self-nominations, Staff and Trustees. Nominees who have graduated in the last decade may show a clear path of professional accomplishment but are not expected to have advanced as far in their career or vocational activities as those who have been in the workforce longer. NOTE: Cornell faculty/staff are not eligible for PCCW membership (until the time when not employed by Cornell).
